Resided in: Nashville, Tennessee

JUDAH DAVID SPARKOWICH passed from this life on Wednesday, Nov. 26th, 3:48 pm, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN, at the age of 25. He is survived by his parents, David & Sharon Sparkowich of Kansas City, MO, and his siblings, Joshua, Josiah, Joel, Arielle, and Destiny.

Judah was born on April 14, 2000, in Shady Grove Hospital in Gaithersburg, MD to David & Sharon Sparkowich. He graduated high school in 2017 in Hinsdale, NH after having been home educated by his parents. After moving to Nashville, Judah began his career as a musician, a photographer, a property investor, and an automobile enthusiast.

Judah was passionate about living life to the fullest. He worked hard and played just as hard. He had an undying love for travel and adventure and carried with him a carefree optimism and contagious enthusiasm which seemed to make all things possible. He was always in search of the next mountain top, waterfall, or off-road experience. He often enjoyed world travel with close friends, including activities such as: cliff jumping, glacier photography, car racing, and desert and beach excursions to lonely and beautiful places.

He was extraordinarily gifted in playing multiple instruments, including bass guitar, acoustic, electric guitar, drums, and even keys from time to time. He loved to both listen to and play music. He also enjoyed frequenting local coffee shops where he would enjoy down time with his friends and as always looking to make new friends. Judah possessed an enthusiasm for vintage clothing and music gear. He also loved to buy, race, and then sell sports cars.

He loved coming home to spend time with his parents and siblings. He was typically very nostalgic and highly valued the special times he shared with his family growing up. Judah, we will miss your laughter, smiles, and zeal for life. We will miss your participation in family board games, especially card games of cribbage and bid whist. Your laughter during classic films that our family will continue to watch will be sorely missed, and the extra zip you always added to social gatherings will not be easily forgotten.

Last but not least, Judah loved the Lord Jesus as his savior and most trustworthy friend. Since he was 10 years old, he has been a regular contributor in helping to lead worship gatherings in many churches and in houses of prayer. Some of his closest friends have described him as being fearless in sharing his faith with anyone who would listen. Judah, whose name means “praise” is finally face to face with Jesus, the one he has sung about for so long.

The family would like to thank everyone who has contributed in prayer, encouragement, and financial support to the Sparkowich family throughout this crisis. We would like to acknowledge the committed, compassionate and skilled medical staff in the ICU of Vanderbilt University Medical Center. This is where we all spent the last 3 weeks of Judah’s life praying, singing over him, and speaking life over him. Truth be told, Judah is more alive now than he has ever been, safe in the arms of Jesus.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are being received through Judah’s Celebration of Life webpage. (https://gofund.me/b0c4f2e5d).
