Judy is my cousin. I remember her as a tough woman and survived many trials and tribulations. She had a keen sense of laughter and had a great time. I love her and miss her.

Judy "JuJu" Parnell Williamson Smythia Ross- Age 80, passed away January 3, 2022. She is preceded in death by daughter, Mary Jennifer Smythia; husbands, James R. Smythia and David "Hoss" Ross; parents, Robert P. and Mary Evelyn Williamson. Judy is survived by her children, Mark P. Smythia; Lisa and Russell Cunningham; grandchildren, Kyle and Jordan Cunningham, Carly Cunningham; great grandchildren, Emery Jo and Dawson. Judy was one of the first women motor winders in Nashville. She began her career in 1975 when she went to work for General Electric. In later years worked for Power Electric and Industrial Service where she retired. A Celebration of Judy's life will be scheduled for a future date.
