Karen Michelle Dalton, a resident of Paris, Tennessee passed away in her home on April 4th, 2022. She is survived by her daughters Kristen Dalton Adams and Danielle Dalton, her grandsons Hunter Nicles Adams and Sean Landon-Joseph Adams, her partner of 4 years Enrique Santino Sanchez, also her father, Vincent Dalton, her sister Dawn Dalton Waller, her brother Barry Christian, many nieces and nephews and friends she considered family. She was preceded in death by her mother Geraldine Napier. Karen was born on December 16th, 1966, in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a graduate of Henry County High School, class of 1985. A long-term resident of Greeneville, Tennessee, Karen held a fondness for the mountains. She loved to travel and did so often in her 55 years. Though she lived in many places, she held a special place in her heart for New Orleans, Louisiana and considered herself a long-time member of the Saints “Who Dat” Nation. Karen was creative, passionate and a proud Native American descendant. She loved life and made every event a little more fun. She was an avid hiker and writer. She always used words to get her point across and wrote eloquently. Karen shared a passion of photography with her daughter Kristen and fully believe 9mm film was the only way to take a photograph. Danielle was her baby and the brightest star in the sky to her. Karen had a very special relationship with her grandsons. She was Hunter’s favorite person in the world and his steadfast protector. Sean considered her the coolest GiGi and the best adventure companion. There will be a private service for family members only. At Karen’s request, her ashes will be spread at a later date.
