I am so sorry for the family’s loss of Keith. I wish that I had been able to know him longer. I always appreciated him taking time to visit with my dad & keep him company while us girls were out doing something else. He will be missed! Praying for everyone.

Keith Herbert Rodgers, 79, of McEwen, TN went to be with the Lord on March 12, 2025. Keith was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Keith was born on March 29, 1945, to Herbert and Jane Rodgers in Hohenwald, TN. He graduated from Lewis County High School in 1964. Keith proudly served in the US Army from 1965-1967 and was sent overseas as Border Patrol in the DMZ between North and South Korea. Keith married Linda Bastin Rodgers on May 22, 1968, and they made their home in McEwen, TN. They raised two children, Mike Mathis and Tracey Teichmann. Keith was a faithful member of the McEwen Church of Christ and loved his church family. Keith had an enormous heart and a wonderful sense of humor. He was highly active throughout his life, from high school football to running around with Claire. He loved his family and friends and was always willing to help anyone. He was known as Turkey or KK to his grandchildren and his family called him Kemo. I never had the pleasure of meeting him, though Mike Mathis is a friend of mine, and a father is reflected in his children. I pray that the Lord provides comfort and strength to his family and friends during this difficult time of grief.
