Kenneth Ross Yates Sr.

Kenneth Ross Yates, Sr. 82 of Watertown, TN. Passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon Oct. 18, 2023.

Born October 5th, 1941, Kenneth was the son of the late Richard Yates and Ruby Crabtree and is preceded in death by his wife Karen Crandall Yates, brothers Larry and Ed Yates.

Kenneth was a United States Navy veteran, a member of the local Carpenters union, a 50+ year member of the Masonic lodge, a retired overhead door mechanic and in later years a pig farmer with his son Ken.

He is survived by his sons Ken Jr, Kyle and daughter Nancy (Moore) Whitten, sister Elaine Johnson, stepchildren Tracey (Sue) Collom, Kelly Collom, Darren (Angie)Collom, grandchildren Ross (Hannah) Yates, Kyle Yates II, Blaine Collom, Megan (Kevin) Thompson, Stephanie (Joe) Robinson, Candace (Jon) Lamb, Ashley Jean, Tracey (Cindy) Collom, Leslie (Corey) Youngs, Christian Whitten and several great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held on November 4th, 2023, 12:00 pm at Commerce Cumberland Presbyterian Church He will be laid to rest at the family cemetery following the services. 1672 Bell Road Watertown, TN.
