Born in: Southfield, Michigan

Kimberly Ann Simkins, 52, raised in Armada, MI and currently residing in Nashville, TN unexpectedly left us on December 16, 2023.

She is survived by her mother MaryEllen Simkins, son Shane Whitney, daughter Mickayla McMahon (A.J), sisters Carrie Scott (Brad), Stacey Cortez (Romel) and preceded in death by father Robert Simkins.

Kim had a heart of gold and could light up any room she walked in with her contagious excitement for life. She was blessed with the Thistle Farms family and that support forever changed her life for the better. Kim had a warm and beautiful spirit that those who knew her will eternally miss.
Kim held Jesus close and would always want us to remember John 16:22 therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.

  1. My Sweet daughter I would love the world to know what a heart you had, you were always trying to help people. I hope you have found your safe place with your Dad. I love you with all my heart and miss you till the day we meet again.

  2. I was blessed to have met Kim a few years ago with her sister, Stacey. She had a huge heart that filled the room. Stacey gave her a kitten that weekend and Kim cried tears of happiness. She had her own snug of love to carry her through. I pray for all of her family and friends at this very difficult time. It is never easy letting someone go. She will remain in my memory and in your hearts and minds as the beautiful uniquely troubled human that she was. We are all alike in this troubled world and she was a gift. Much love and light ❤️

  3. My neice, you gave me great love and enjoyment . I love you and look forward to seeing and hugging you beyond the veil.

  4. Kimberly, You are dearly missed by all your friends in Nashville!! I will always carry the memories of our time together, especially all our times studying God’s word in Bible Study! You were one who would drop everything for a friend in need!! I know you are pain free and rejoicing with Jesus right now!!! ❤️
