I’m deeply saddened by this news. Ms. Laura taught both of my daughters in pre-K at AoMM. She was truly exceptional. I feel privileged to have known her and to have had her educate my girls. Her presence will be greatly missed by many.
Ms. Laura was a wonderful educator, teaching both of my boys. They loved her so much, and she still always had a sweet hug for them when we would see her, even after they went to kindergarten. I’m so sorry to hear, and I wish your family peace and comfort in memories of her.
We love you Ms. Laura 🤍✝️
We are brokenhearted to hear of this. We will be praying for the family during this difficult time of grief. Will and Corbin especially as you grieve please know that we are praying for you that God will wrap His arms around you and comfort you. You’re in our hearts forever as well as your mom. We love you, Unc Darius Aunt Faye 🙏❤️
I am so sorry to hear about Ms. Laura’s passing. She was a wonderful Pre-K teacher for our oldest son, and taught him skills he still uses many years later. I remember her compassion and warmth toward our whole family, her special programs at Academy, and her love of The Magic Treehouse book series. She taught our kids how to place a hand on our arm when they want to say something instead of interrupting, and would place her hand over theirs to acknowledge their presence. She touched our lives. Sending love to her friends and family.
Ms. Laura was a great woman, educator, co worker & has impacted so many families! She taught we myself and both of my children so much. Grateful she was able to touch our lives the way she did! You will be missed Laura Walker! ❤️
We send our sincere condolences to Ms Laura’s family. She was so instrumental in preparing both of our daughters for Kindergarten. She had them both in Pre-K at AOMM. Her love for reading and her passion for teaching always shined bright. May she rest in peace.
Prayers for the family.
