Linda Rae (Lin) Smith – age 70, passed away June 5, 2022, in Nashville, TN. Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Grabel and father, Robert Swope. Survived by her loving children, Debra Horton (Raymond Sr.), Jason Garlow, Dan Cottle (Michelle Sebastian), Barbara Cottle; grandchildren, Destiny Cottle, Abigail Horton, Raymond Horton, Jr., Dawn Shurtz, Ikeka Sebastian; sisters, Pamela Strahlem, Ronda Guthrie; brothers, Dale Swope, Tommy Grabel; great-grandchildren, Ryan Wertin, Kalel Cottle, Zaira Wells; soon to be great -grandchildren, Detarious Wells, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. Linda was always a great mother and person. She would do almost anything she could to help someone out. Lin enjoyed country music and she especially loved to sing and write songs. She also had a gift for making jewelry. Lin was an amateur photographer and loved taking pictures of different things. She will be missed so much. She was the best mother, sister, daughter, granddaughter, grandmother, and great-grandmother. “Rest in Peace Mom. You are not in anymore pain. You are in heaven with your mother. You are my angel and always have been. I know you will be looking down from heaven on your whole family. You will always be in everyone’s heart.
