Lisa Joy Markawicz
September 27, 1995 ~ September 15, 2022
It is with a heavy heart to announce the passing of our beloved, Lisa Joy Markawicz. Lisa passed on September 15th surrounded by loved ones and was welcomed into the kingdom of Heaven by her late parents, John D. Markawicz Sr., her mother, Margarite Markawicz (Pannirello) and her sister, Victoria Grace Markawicz. In her short time of 26 years, Lisa has left behind a legacy of love, laughter and memories we will forever cherish in our hearts. Lisa had the biggest heart and could light up a room wherever she went. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. In honor of Lisa, a Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 - 6:00pm on Saturday, September 24th followed by a memorial for family and close friends. The viewing and memorial will be held at Freedom Baptist Church on 5 East Oak Ln, Glenolden, PA 19036. The family asks that flowers be sent to the Freedom Baptist Church where the memorial will be held. The family has also set up a GoFundMe for the memorial services and is accepting any gifts or donations to honor Lisa's memory. https://gofundme.com/f/lisa-joy-markawicz Arrangements in the care of Compassion Funeral & Cremation Services, Nashville, Tennessee (615) 857-9955.

A Memorial Tree was planted in memory of Lisa Joy MarkawiczLisa always spoke from her heart center , you could not change her mind about what she felt. Lisa always spoke her truth no matter what and in a world where there is so much miscommunication and doubt, she was someone who was an emotional landing pad and comfort for others , she was a lighthouse .
It is with deep sorrow that we heard about the loss of Lisa. As with you I am sure it was a shock to your family. We will be praying for Lisa as well as your family. Todd bless. Love, Les and Terry Swinehart
Unfortunately, I didn’t know Lisa but I know Jackie from high school. Sending love to her family, friends and of course Jackie during this time.
