Lori E. Kirby West Nashville 1960-2023 Lori E. Kirby- Age 63, of West Nashville, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at her residence. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Kirby; her parents, Claude and Alma (Ann) Lytle; brother, Larry Lytle. She is survived by her 2 children, Heather (Gary) Whisenant; son, David (Carrie) Newsome; grandchildren, Elia, Keilani, Annabelle, and Payton; sister-in-law, Kathy Lytle; niece, Kimberly Davidson; nephews, Timothy Lytle and Christopher Lytle; two lifelong friends, Betty Roberts and Shayla Peone; and a host of extended family members and friends. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who was always there when needed. There was nothing in the world that she wouldn't do for her kids. She adored and loved her 4 granddaughters deeply; they were her pride and joys. Not a day went by that she wasn't bragging to someone about her girls. Her love for others showed in everything she did. To know her was a blessing and to love her was a treasured gift. She devoted her life to helping and caring for others in their time of need no matter how big or small the need be. For many years she ran the concession stand at Charlotte Park Ballpark, where she adopted 100"s more family members. This suited her servant heart and showed how big it really was. She believed you do what's right and do what's good. Be kind and help others in need. She showed love, joy, kindness, and forgiveness to so many in her life. Her love touched us all deeply. She will forever be greatly missed and loved. A Celebration of Lori's life will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023, at 2PM, at Western Hills Church (7565 Charlotte Pike) with John Johnson officiating.
