Madge Lee Thomas Troxel – 81, of West Nashville, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022, at Alive Hospice Residence after an extended illness. She was born at home on October 19, 1940, in Nashville, TN and was a longtime native of West Nashville. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse & Bonnie Thomas; her husband, Albert Troxel, who passed away in July of 2000; her siblings; and her son, Wayne Dotson. She is survived by sons, Eddie Dotson and Donnie Dotson Lowrey, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Madge was known for her spunky personality and was very quick witted. You always knew where you stood with her, and if you didn’t, she would let you know. A Graveside Service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022, at 2:00PM, at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens (Sermon on the Mount). Her family and friends will serve as pallbearers. A time of visitation will be held on Friday before the graveside service at James Avenue Church of Christ (613 James Avenue in West Nashville) on Friday from 10:00AM until 1:00PM.
