Mark Allen McCoy Sr

Mark Allen McCoy Sr passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, June 20th, 2026 in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 78. Mark was born on August 2, 1947 in Nashville, Tennessee to Charles and Margaret McCoy. He was a hard worker and an owner of his own Roofing company. He married his wife Linda McCoy, and they have been together for 61 years. The two welcomed their five children into their life, their 16 grandchildren, and later got to welcome their 37 great grandchildren.

Mark is survived by his wife Linda McCoy, his sister Teresa, his children Michelle, Gary, Monty, and Charlie, his grandchildren Lil’ Charlie McCoy, Belinda, James Ashworth, Brandon Ashworth, Britt, Lil’ Monty, Brandy, Stacey, Steven, Amber, Justin, Dana, Dusty, Chance, and Sierra. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Margaret McCoy,  his brothers Charles, Kenny, David,  Michael and Jerry, his sisters Connie, Janice, and Delilah, his son Mark Jr, his grandson Joseph, and his great grandchild Lil’ Curtis.

His family remembers him as a good father and a great protector.  The family knows he’s in heaven with everyone smiling down.
