Mark H. Gorlier

Mark H. Gorlier – age 63, passed away January 18, 2023, in Nashville, TN. Mr. Gorlier is preceded in death by his mother, Judith “Judy” Johnson Schmidt and brother, Matthew Schmidt. Survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Donna Gorlier; children, Joseph Turner, Matthew Turner; father, Harold “Hal” Gorlier; stepfather, Jerome "Jerry" Schmidt; grandchildren, Ashlee Turner, Michael Turner, Anthony Turner; sister, Judith Bonnington, and numerous other nieces, nephews, and other family members. Mark had a passion for fishing and golf. He loved to fish on the Cumberland River near Antenna Island and enjoyed travelling to Minnesota to go ice fishing on Red Lake. Mark also loved football and enjoyed watching his Minnesota Vikings play. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2023, at Western Hills Church, 7565 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN 37209 with Hubert Cunningham Officiating. Military honors to follow at the church. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at Western Hills Church.
