Melba Anita Graves, 70, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2025. Born April 3, 1954 to Wallace & Esther Graves in Fort Payne, AL, she is survived by her sister, Mary Alice (Henry) Blankenship and brother Wayne (Linda) Graves, nieces Kaye Ingram, Melissa (Jacob) Hamlin, Kara (Chris) Wheeler, Whitney (Nick) Russell, Kristie (Doniaven) Sanders, Lindsey (Josh) Gulledge, nephew John (Tiffany) Blankenship, a number of great-nieces and nephews, and dear friends who were her local family.

Anita’s life was marked by her deep faith, generous spirit, and love for her friends and family. Even in the midst of her health challenges in recent months, she continued to think of others and ways she could encourage them. The family wishes to thank all of her friends who helped her immensely when we were scattered across the country and unable to.
