Michael Anthony Green, Sr.

Michael Anthony Green Sr., 54, of Harriman, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2026. He was born on June 5, 1972, in Dallas, Texas, to Nancy Kienzle Green and the late James Green.

Michael was a proud member of the Local 669 Sprinkler Fitters Union for 27 years. He took great pride in his work and loved the people and friendships that came with it.

Outside of work, Michael loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, going to concerts, and cheering on football. But above all else, Michael loved his family. His family meant everything to him, and he gave his love freely and wholeheartedly.

Michael was an extremely kind person, a fierce and loyal friend, and one of those people whose personality naturally drew others toward him. He had an incredible sense of humor and could make people laugh when they needed it most. He was loving, genuine, and unforgettable. Those who knew Michael will remember not only the things he did, but the way he made people feel simply by being around him.

Michael leaves behind his beloved wife, Viola Green; his children, Mykia Beal, Stormie Pitts, Michael Green Jr., Taisha Hunt, and Timothy Hunt Jr.; and his three cherished grandchildren, Bailey, Everleigh, and Cohen. He is also survived by his mother, Nancy Kienzle Green, and his sister, Kellie Harris.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Green.

Michael leaves behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, friendships, and love that will continue through the people whose lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever loved by his family, friends, coworkers, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, beginning at 11:30 a.m. at Tri Dog Brewing Co. in Harriman, Tennessee. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate Michael’s life, share memories, and honor the man he was.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made toward Michael’s cremation expenses. The family would be deeply grateful for any support during this difficult time.
