Dickson, TN / West Nashville, TN Michael J. Marbut- born December 15, 1974, passed away on December 31, 2021. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, James (Catfish) Marbut and Donna Bass Marbut Woodside. Michael's main joy in life was his children and grandchildren and making them laugh. He is survived by wife Crystal; children, Megan Marbut, Christian Taylor Marbut (Elysium McCluney), Hannah Marbut, Alycia Marbut, Zachary (Duckie) Marbut and Lauren Williams; grandchildren, Brianna Marbut, Erin Grace McCluney and Hazel Grace Cheeves. He is also survived by his brother, Josh Marbut and wife Stella. Michael's desire was to be cremated. A Celebration of his life will be held at a later date. The first time I met my dad he made me feel so loved. He hugged me and told me he was proud of me. He made me feel comfortable and proud to call him dad. He understood when I was hesitant at first and he helped me. He always tried to be there for me.
Michael was the first grandson and the first nephew I loved watching him grow! He was a great father to his children all of his children called him a hero and can see that! Rest In Peace Michael!
