Michael John LaGreca – age 74, of Nashville, TN (originally from Hempstead, NY) passed away on Friday December 2, 2022, at home. He is predeceased by his father, Michael P. LaGreca and son, Peter LaGreca. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lynn (Fennimore) LaGreca, daughters Darcy Grant, Jean Lemonis, Meghan Hopkins (Chris Hopkins) and son, Robert LaGreca (Carmen LaGreca) and his Grandson, Michael Lemonis. He is also survived by his loving mother, Mary LaGreca, sisters, MaryJoan Leja (Norman), Michelle Faljean (Kenny), Marianna Raaidy (Bob), Melanie Tramposch (Ernst) and his brother, Mark LaGreca (Donna); and many nieces and nephews. Michael was the oldest of 6 children. He attended Sewanhaka High School. Michael was formerly employed at General Dynamics/Electric Boat and was a master carpenter with no shortage of any tool or gadget in his garage. Some of his passions in his earlier years included street racing his beloved “Little Kryptonite”, baseball and football. He also loved to talk about all the buildings he built especially those in downtown Manhattan and was always known to lend a hand to anyone who was in need. He faithfully attended Grace Center Church in Franklin, TN where many were considered family. He is remembered by those closest to him as fun and charismatic and remained a loyal New York Giants and Yankees fan but also loved his Nashville Predators. A celebration of Michael’s life will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 10:30am, at Grace Center Church (2420 Bethlehem Loop, Franklin) with Tony Wakefield officiating.
