July 17, 1966 ~ January 31, 2025

Born in: Kingston, New York
Resided in: Pegram, Tennessee

Michael William Bruck passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 58 at his home in Pegram, TN.

He was born on July 17, 1966, in Kingston, NY, to James J. Bruck and Linda L. Hornbeck. He graduated from Kingston High School and Ulster County Community College. Michael was honorably discharged from the United States Army in 1987, having served as a radio operator in Germany and with the 101st Airborne at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

His interests were as varied as his considerable intellect would carry him, whether he was defending his well-thought-out perspectives, fishing the Harpeth River, playing cornhole in the backyard, or watching the New York Football Giants. But if all you knew about him was that, in his inimitable way, he dearly loved and was dearly loved by his family and close friends, that would be enough.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Janice; his daughters, Nicole Sagazie (Jed) and Jordyn Conrad (Luke); his son, Michael John Bruck; and his grandsons, Leo and Logan Conrad. He is also survived by his father, James J. Bruck (Rose); his brothers, James J. Bruck Jr. (Kelly) and Gregory P. Bruck (Kim); and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda L. Hornbeck.

  1. Thank you for letting Greg and I spin those Buddy Holly reels and jam on Jimmy and your guitars/drums in that Clifton Ave attic. Chester the lab and your Mom had a lot of patience. Please tell your Mother I said hello. Thanks for the great memories ❤️.

  2. My heart goes out to your family.
You were more than Chuck’s best friend, you were his brother.
I am disappointed that we never got the chance to do our remembrance kayaking day for Chuck, that we had talked about.
However now Chuck and you can go explore some new lakes and get more than just one last kayak ride in.
You were the one person, that I could share something Chuck would have been amused by and I knew you got it too.
    You will be greatly missed.
