Patricia (Pat) Morton

 9/3/1935 – 8/25/2026

One of God’s Earth Angels returned home from Nashville, TN, on August 25, 2026, at the age of 90. Her mission of faith, family, and community is now complete.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mamie Landers; her husband, Billy Morton, Sr.; and her son, Billy Morton, Jr.

She is survived by her nephews, James and David Morton; multiple great-nieces and great-nephews; extended cousins; and numerous friends she adopted into her family, especially Judy Saita and John Rochford.

Pat was a woman of tremendous faith who was known for her unwavering selflessness and commitment to helping others. While she spent the majority of her life as a homemaker, her true calling was that of a servant leader. She continuously volunteered at church and within various aspects of her community, always seeking ways to serve and make a difference.

The funeral service to honor and celebrate Pat’s life is scheduled for Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 11:30am, at West Nashville Cumberland Church, located at 6849 Old Charlotte Pike. Interment will follow at Middle TN Veterans Cemetery on McCrory Lane.

Visitation with the Morton family will precede the service on Thursday from 10:30am until 11:30, at West Nashville Church.
