Perry Anthony Montesi - Age 39, of Hermitage TN. passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023. Anthony is survived by his father, Perry Montesi; stepmother, Angela Montesi; stepfather, Jack Scoggins; brother, Miller Scoggins; grandmother, Judy Stephens; stepsister, Elizabeth Wheeler; uncle Monte Montesi; aunt Kathy Montesi; aunt Melanie Montesi; cousin, Joseph Montesi; Uncle Donny Montesi, great aunt, Sandra Montesi, and extended family members as well as a large host of friends. He is loved immensely and will be missed daily. Anthony was a gentle soul, a friend to all, leaving an optimistic bright impression to those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Anthony raised his two chihuahuas like they were his kids, both dogs had a rough go with health issues, but Anthony was determined and succeeded in stabilizing his two loved ones to live in comfort. Anthony maintained a daily regimen, woke up at 4am, exercised, did yoga, sustained a healthy lifestyle. Weekly Anthony would head to the homeless shelter to support and assist anyway he could. Anthony had a passion for sports, music, and family vacations. Often spoke about his trip to the Grand Canyon saying, “What a beautiful peaceful place.” We are truly blessed and better to have known such a caring and loving person. Anthony’s memorial service will be held at Western Hills Church of Christ, (7565 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN 37209) on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 10AM. I am a good friend of Melanie Montesi, who is Anthony’s aunt. I never personally met Anthony, , but I grew to know him through Melanie, who would talk about him often. She truly loved her nephew with all her heart. May God bring Peace and Comfort to Perry, Angela, Melanie and all the rest of Anthony’s family as well as his friends who are all mourning his passing. We met while we were all watching Miller play baseball at a young age, and we continued to see him through the years. The kids and I enjoyed knowing him so much.
