  1. Our prayers go out to Sue, Josh and all of his family, friends and fellow fighters. 🙏🙏🙏 Phil was a great guy and will be missed by so many!

  2. Prayers for Sue and Josh and the other family members on the passing of Phil. He will surely be missed by a lot of us ! RIP my brother !

  3. Phil was a great guy. We lost touch over the years, but in the early ‘70s we had some great times. Our favorite hangout was Lums at the Hwy 70/100 split and I have a great story about the night they asked us to leave before we were even seated, but I’d better save that for private conversations Saturday. Phil, tell Riley and Mildred I said hello.

  4. Phil, no more pain & suffering. We will all miss this special friend, cousin and all around great guy. Praying for peace & comfort for the family.

  5. I have known Phil for many years and always waved and talked to him on his run/jogs in the Church yard and though the Fire Department . He was a great guy and will be remembered by many and missed . Prayers to his family and all his friends on the Fire Department .

  6. To the Belcher Family, in this time of profound sorrow, we want you to know that you have our deepest sympathy. Losing someone we cherish is one of life’s most challenging trials. As you navigate through this journey of grief, may you find comfort in the beautiful memories that you shared with Phillip. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

    With heartfelt condolences,
    NFD Peer Support Team

  7. I grew up with Phil in west Nashville he became a firefighter and I became a police officer. We used to go frog gigging at his uncle’s farm in Lebanon and hung out together. Those were good times. See you on the other side buddy.

  8. I worked with Phil on Squad 2 in the mid-80’s. He was a good firefighter, a good friend, and a good man.

    Love,
    DRY
