Royce Goddard Campbell “Prissy” – Age 72, a longtime resident of West Nashville, passed from this life on Monday, February 5, 2024, with her family by her side.

Prissy is survived by her children, Randy Carter; Gail (Don) Boone, and Jennifer (Brad) Weatherby; her loving grandchildren, Randall “Moogie” Osborne, Rheale (Zach Warren) Barbour, Shelby (Justin) Andreas, Brad Weatherby II. (Niki Griffin), Abbie (Ethan) Loxley, Chelsea Clouse, Ryan Davis, Michael Davis, and Matthew Davis; her great grandchildren, Jaxon, Addalyn, Lilith, Lucas, and River; brothers, Rhea Goddard, Spurt (Martha Goss) Goddard, and Billy (Sandra) Goddard; her sisters, Sue Dison, Kaye Spence and Karen Witty.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Campbell; parents, Theodosia Tanksley and Leroy Goddard; stepdad, Jessie “Cotton” Painter; sister-in-law, Dot Goddard and Brother, Ronnie Goddard.

A special thank you to Moody Goss for always being the Thelma to her Louise; Fay McKay and Sharon Lowe for always loving her as a sister.

All are invited to come celebrate her life on Sunday, March 3, 2024, between the hours of 1PM and 4PM, at Western Hills Church, located at 7565 Charlotte Pike. The family has asked that you bring your favorite dish and be prepared to fellowship and have a good time, just as Prissy would have wanted everyone to do.

  8. oh Royce aka PRISSY… who’s gonna call me now, so we can talk for 20+ minutes about nothing really… while I have bunches of referrals and such to complete. I always kinda lit up inside when I saw your name pop up on the caller ID in clinic. I just knew you had some news to chat about. calls would be coming in left and right, and I would just be kicked back on the phone with you. like I was just gossiping with a good friend, forgetting that I was at work. 🙂 I’m gonna miss that. you definitely left a great impression on so many people. your personality was genuine and unique. clearly you led a full life. I’m just glad I had the pleasure of being part of it. I have to stop typing now, all the letters are blending together. im not crying, I’m cutting onions. 😇

  17. I could say so much, but reading these comments, everyone already knows. You are loved by so many. And gonna be missed, for sure. I am just grateful that I know where you are and that you are dancing with the angels. You are up there With our past loved ones. And I know I will be there one day. You have fun up there in that beautiful, pain free body until I see you again. Rest beautifully and watch over these babies.
