Rebecca Anne Hightower Johnson

Rebecca Anne Hightower Johnson – Age 88, lifelong resident of Nashville was born May 18, 1935, and passed from this life on March 19, 2024.

Rebecca is preceded by her parents, Thomas and Bessie Hightower; her siblings James T. Hightower (Delores), Johnny Hightower, Walter Hightower (Mary) and Nancy Mitchell (Mike); her dearest Aunt Aimee Borum; and her husband of 55 years, Walter Perry Johnson.  She is survived by loving family and leaving behind many nieces and nephews, including her nephew, Preston (Pat) Johnson.

Anne was a graduate of Cohn High School, class of 1954. She retired from AT&T with 35 years of service. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Nashville, where she was active in the choir and with the GA’s.

Per Anne’s wishes, there will be no visitation, nor a public service. Her family will gather for a PRIVATE graveside service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
