Rhonda A. Temple, age 63, passed away on January 31, 2026. She spent her life in Tennessee, living in Nashville, Ashland City, and Clarksville, and grew up in West Nashville, where her roots and spirit were firmly planted.
Rhonda worked as a Patient Account Representative, a role that fit her caring nature and desire to help others. But her true life’s work was loving people fiercely and faithfully. She had a deep love for singing, dancing, shopping trips (especially to Hobby Lobby), and most of all, spending time with her husband, children, and family. She was a woman of strong faith and was known for praying for anyone in need — while in the very next breath, joking that she’d take on the Devil himself in a fistfight. That mix of devotion, humor, and fearless love made her unforgettable.
She was a bright light in dark moments, she was strong, sweet, and wonderfully funny. Rhonda loved playing pranks and had a laugh that could fill a room. Her joy was contagious, and her presence made people feel seen, prayed over, and deeply cared for. Rhonda’s love, laughter, faith, and fire, will love on in all who knew her. She prayed hard, loved harder, and leaves behind a legacy of strength, humor, and unwavering devotion to her family and God.
She is survived by her loving husband, Terry S. Temple; her daughter, Alicia (Chris)Smith; her father, Bobby Ezell; and her brothers, Robert Ezell and Roger (Tammy) Ezell, as well as Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews for which she loved dearly.
Rhonda was preceded in death by her beloved son, Christopher S. Temple, and her mother, Rosa Ann Ezell.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 12:30pm, at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, Garden of Fountain. The family will also have a celebration of Rhonda’s life on Saturday, February 21st, at 11:00am, at Scottsboro First Baptist Church.

Bobby and family,
Our families go back so very far. From James to Nashua (through our woods shortcut) that was used so many years ago. Through our Cheerleading years at Cohn, and you and Rhonda stopping by mom’s house last summer. Mom really enjoyed that. We’re all going to miss her…
Terry and Families, I haven’t seen you in many years but believe me, Rhonda loved all of you so very much…
Rhonda, I’ve loved you through this lifetime and hopefully I’ll see you again. You have always been special in my heart, and always will be.
Rest In Peace my friend, you’ve earned it. 🙏 Bless you always my dear friend, it’s time for you to rest. I’ll always love you…
Terry Clouse Phipps
AMEN 🙏
