Ronald Allen Young

Ronald “Ronnie” Allen Young, a father, coach, entrepreneur, passed away in his home in Nashville, TN at the age of 63.

Ronnie is survived by his parents; his children: Ryan Hughes Young, Adam Claiborn Young, Zachary Allen Young; his sister and brother-in-law: Sharon Young Kinnard and David Kinnard; his half-sister: Kristi Young Rowe; nephews: Mathew Rice Kinnard, Christian Claiborn Kinnard, and Chadwick Baird Kinnard.

Ronnie was born on November 3, 1961, to Oscar Allen Young and Ida Sue Young. He owned a commercial property maintenance business that served the greater area of Nashville, TN. Ronnie was a devoted father who put his three boys and his family before anything else. He enjoyed coaching his sons in sports and other kids just as much. He worked extremely hard to make sure they had the best of everything. One of his many passions, that brought him joy in life, was putting others before himself. He was a problem-solver who took on projects in the community to make sure it was done the right way. If you wanted a laugh, all one had to do was sit and listen to Ronnie tell a story. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Charlotte Heights Church of Christ, 6833 Old Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN 37209 with Josh Barnett officiating.  A private graveside service to follow.

Visitation with the family will be held on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Charlotte Heights Church of Christ.
