Rosemary Archer
September 29, 1948 ~ December 22, 2023
Born in:
Everett, Washington
Resided in:
Nashville, Tennessee
On Friday, December 22nd, 2023, Rosemary Archer (don’t call her Edna) passed away at home on Hospice after an eventful hospitalization, with her daughter Lisa and granddaughter Madison by her side. She was 75. She was born and raised in Everett, Washington where she lived her entire life until her husband Curt Archer passed away in 2019 and she moved to Nashville, TN to live closer to her daughter Lisa. While living in Washington she had 2 careers, 20 years at John Fluke Manufacturing and 20 years at Fred Meyer where she retired as a price changer.
Rosemary was in the middle of seven brothers and sisters. Preceding her in death were her parents, Bill and Florence Hubert, her father Lloyd Burklund, her youngest sister Lauri Hubert-Kearns, her oldest brother Fred Burklund, and her step-sister Carol Brown. Rosemary is also being reunited with her 2 sons, her middle child Kevin Wamsley who died as an infant, and her oldest child, Charles “Nick” Wamsley, JR who died in 1999. Left here to grieve on earth is her oldest sister Bobbi Stone, her younger sister Beverly Harlow-Garcia and her youngest brother Billy Hubert. Also, her 3rd child Lisa and son-in-law Kyle Nuckolls who cared for her the 4 years she was in TN. As you can imagine with this large of a family, she also had many nieces and nephews, along with her own grandchildren: Charles N. Wamsley III (wife Robin, great grandkids: Leanne, Lizzy, and Charles the IV) and James Wamsley (great grandchild Weylyn James) And Lisa’s children: Madison N., Chloe R., and Mallory E. Hobson and step-grandsons Hudson and Graham Nuckolls. And we can’t forget her cat, Steve. Rosemary was also proud to watch her step grandkids Kyle (wife Sandy, great grandkids Madelina, Aubrey and Wyatt) and Kory (wife Kelsea and great grandchild Kennedy) Archer grow up and babysit.
During her time in Tennessee, Rosemary enjoyed getting her nails done, watching football (especially if we got the Seahawks game here, but she also pulled for the Titans) and last year we took her to Florida where she finally got to see the ocean and real white sand.
