Ms. Sandra Kay Brock “Sandy” Aud- Age 81, of Nashville, Tennessee passed from this life on Monday, December 9, 2024, at her residence in Bellevue.
A service to honor and celebrate Sandy’s life will be held after the holidays on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Christ Church Cathedral, 900 Broadway Nashville TN 37203 at 11am with a visitation beginning at 10am.

Sandy is survived by her sons, Christopher (Lauri) Aud, of Woodland Hills, CA; and Terence “Terry” Aud, of Jacksonville, Florida; daughter, Stephanie Keever Weiter, of Topeka, Kansas; her grandchildren, Rachel Elise Aud, Emily Lauren Aud, Nathaniel Brock Aud, Daniela Gretchen Weiter, Blake Matthew Weiter and Maria Catharine Weiter; her great grandchildren Max Joseph Heckler and Brooks Thomas Milazzo; cousin Beverly Sanders and other extended family members and her beloved furry companion of whom she loved dearly, Paco.

Sandra was born in Madisonville, Kentucky to Lotus Paul and Gladys Brock. Long road trips were a part of Sandy’s childhood and she saw much of the United States with her parents via the car. Her love of singing came from her mom and her love of writing came from her dad. She wrote for her high school newspaper and sang in choir. She graduated from Benjamin Bosse High School in Evansville, Indiana in 1961 and she was a proud graduate of the University of Kentucky where she majored in journalism. Sandy gave birth to Stephanie (1966) in Topeka Kansas. She married Ernest F. Aud Jr. in 1967 and had two sons, Christopher (1967) and Terry (1970). Divorced in 1974, Sandy began a varied career path that took her from Carmel and Zionsville, Indiana to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, eventually settling in Nashville, Tennessee. Sandy worked her most recent years as an administrative assistant. She worked for over 12 years as the office manager of West Harpeth Funeral Home, then on to St. Thomas West until her recent retirement. She was the wedding coordinator at First Lutheran Church Downtown for several years as well.
