Sandra Denise "Sandy" Richardson

Sandra Denise Richardson ‘Sandy”- Age 66, of Donelson, passed from this life on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at her sister’s home.

She is preceded in death by parents, Earl Carson & Oma Adeline Richardson; her brother, Donald Richardson, Sr., and her godson, Jordan Yates.

Sandy is survived by sister, Angela (Larry) Stephens; nephews, Matthew (Rachel) Stephens; Donnie (Cindy) Richardson, and Chance (Harley) Richardson; nieces, Rachel (Jon) Wishnow and Christina McGuirt; her sister-in-law, Cheryl Richardson; great nephews, Drason, Ian, Connan, Caden, August, and Oliver; great nieces, Izabella and Lilly; and host of extended family members and friends.

In her earlier years, she enjoyed playing softball, loved trips to the beach, and always had a special place in her heart for animals. She was a generous and kindhearted person who found joy in helping others.

She worked much of her life in the hospitality industry and was a devoted caregiver to her mother, Oma, until her passing. Caring for others came naturally to her, and she was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Above all, she loved her family deeply. Her kindness, generosity, compassion, and love for others will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and everyone whose life she touched.

The funeral service is scheduled for Friday, August 28, 2026, at 1:00pm, at Western Hills Church, located at 7565 Charlotte Pike with Pastor Nate Kelleher officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Nephews and great nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation with the Richardson family will precede the service on Friday from 1100am until the service time at 1:00pm, all at Western Hills Church.
