Shelia Stokes Demonbreun

Shelia Stokes Demonbreun- Age 66, of West Nashville, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 25, 2022, after a brief illness. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother known as “She-O and Nana”. She was a member of Bellevue Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her father, Joe Stokes; brothers- in-law, Mark Knuckles & Charlie Goad; father-in-law, James Demonbreun; sister-in-law, Barbara Brown. Shelia is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Paul Demonbreun; daughter, Amy Demonbreun; son, Scott Demonbreun; daughter, Melanie Dunn (Corey); grandchildren, Savannah Goad and Ryan Dunn; her mother, Mildred Stokes; sisters, Wanda Litchford (Howard Jr.), Mary Rose Knuckles and Nancy Goad; mother-in-law, Bess Demonbreun and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Shelia’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at 11AM, at the Bellevue Church of Christ (7401 Hwy 70 South) with Daryl Demonbreun officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Family will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be employees and staff of Lipscomb University Business Office where she was a faithful employee for 21 years.
