Sherrlyn Ann Pratt, born January 27, 1947, in Norfolk, VA., and passed away November 15, 2024. She was the daughter of Glen and Ruby Leaming.

She married William Pratt on June 24, 1967, just 2 months after his return from 13 months in Vietnam. They shared 57 wonderful years and were blessed with two great children; Jeff Pratt and his wife, Liz and Lisa Neeley, whose husband, Sean passed away 5 years ago. They were also blessed with 5 grandchildren; Cole, Hayden, Cruz, Cason and Cara and 2 step-grandchildren, Lexi and Tess. They felt so lucky to have such a special family.

Sherry and Bill moved to Nashville from Des Moines, Iowa in 1984 to buy a failing AMC/Jeep dealership and with luck and hard work they made it successful. They eventually turned it into 4 dealerships and all that hard work paid off. They were blessed with a wonderful life.

A funeral mass for Sherry will be celebrated on Monday, November 25, 2024, at 11AM, at Holy Rosary Church, located at 192 Graylynn Drive in Nashville. Visitation will precede the service from 10AM until 11AM, also at the church. The burial will take place at Middle TN Veterans Cemetery on McCrory Lane, at 2PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to The Nashville Humane Association, 213 Oceola Ave, Nashville 37209. It was Sherry’s favorite charity.
