Steven Scott Daniel 69, passed away on March 25, 2024. He was born on December 19, 1954, in Brentwood, Tennessee. Steven, a retired Letter Carrier with the United States Postal Service, served his country honorable in the United States Army, retiring after his service in Desert Storm/Shield. He was a proud member of the 10th Special Forces group, 509th US Army Rigger SOCOM, Special Operations Command.
Steven was known for his adventurous spirit and his love for outdoor activities. He enjoyed walking, biking, roller skating, roller blading and even skydiving. Among his military associations, he was respected for his dedication and service.
He will be deeply missed and is survived by his life-mother Erika L. Daniel, siblings Danie, Jeffrey, Catrina and Michael (Julie) Daniel, his devoted niece Taronda (Douglas) Williams, Grandniece Alexandria Williams, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and grandnieces/nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, William J. Daniel, and birth mother, Lois Daniel-Holuta.
Arrangements are pending at this time. Compassion Funeral and Cremation Services in Nashville, Tennessee is assisting the family during this difficult time.
Steven will be remembered as a beloved son, brother, uncle, grand uncle, friend and a true patriot who served his country with honor. May he rest in peace.

Burial, Monday, April 22nd, 11am at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Lane, Nashville, TN 37221
