Steven Thomas Anderson, 78, of Nashville, Tennessee died December 21, 2023. Born June 11, 1945 in
Nashville, he was the son of the late Edward Clive Anderson and Ruby Hill Anderson. Steve is survived by
his wife Janis Taylor Anderson of Dowelltown, Tennessee, who he married in 1966 on his twenty-first
birthday. Steve and Jan have one daughter, Sara Elizabeth, born in 1975.

Steve was a graduate of Hillsboro High School and received his degree in marketing from Lipscomb
University. After beginning his career in the family auction and realty business, Steve entered the field of
advertising with Carden & Cherry. After a few years, he branched out on his own and began Anderson
Slide Graphics, successfully running his company until 1997. He ended his career working at Nashville
Carpet Center in advertising and promotions. You could often hear him narrating their commercials with
his recognizable “radio voice.”

Steve is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Charlotte Taylor (16) and Andrew Touchstone (11),
and son-in-law, Drew Donahoe. Steve was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Clive Anderson Jr.

Visitation services will be held at Woodmont Christian Church in Nashville on January 3 from 10:30 a.m.
to 12:45, with a memorial service to follow at 1:00 p.m.
