Walter Frank Bond

Walter Frank Bond, 71, of Nashville, TN passed away surrounded by his loving family on May 19, 2022. He was born and raised in Nashville, TN and is preceded in death by his parents Charles Frederick and Anne Blair Bond. He is survived by his wife Barbara Oliver Bond, daughter Elizabeth Lanier (Bond) Schreiner (Jeff), daughter Corinne Oliver Bond, and grandchildren Elizabeth Madison McKissack, Thomas Humphreys Shriver II, Madison Taylor Schreiner, and Blake Walter Schreiner; sisters, Lynn Bond Parsons (Bill); TI Bond Bishop (Mike); and his brother, Charles Frederick Bond (Debbie). Walter graduated from Montgomery Bell Academy and Vanderbilt University. A CPA, he worked many years for the State of TN. Walter loved spending time outdoors. He was a skilled woodworker and enjoyed building a cabin out in the country with his grandsons. Services will be held at 4pm on Monday May 30, 2022, at St. Augustine's Chapel. Visitation begins at 3pm. *Please note that parking will be available at West End UMC. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Thistle Farms, 5122 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN 37209.
