William "Mac" Cantrell McKoin

William “Mac” Cantrell McKoin – age 67, passed away January 15, 2022, in Nashville, TN. Mr. McKoin is preceded in death by his father, William Cantrell McKoin; mother and stepfather, Stella and Ed Dooley. Survived by the McKoin , Cantrell, and Dooley families along with a host of friends including long time companion Carla Conte. Mac was an avid car enthusiast and began his career at Key Chrysler Plymouth in Madison, TN. Mass of the Resurrection Service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 5655 Clarksville Pike, Joelton, TN 37080 with Fr. Abraham, Celebrant. Inurnment to follow at Crestview Memory Gardens in Gallatin, TN. Honorary pallbearers include: Tommy Jarrett, Tony Catignani, Chris Regan, Mark Phillips, Joe Overstreet, and Kenny Colorigh. In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made to a cancer center of your choice or Alive Hospice.

Mac and I met in elementary school. He became my little brother and was always a part of my family. So many memories of him being my roommate and his ‘bologna gravy recipe’, cruising Shoney’s, ‘open mic’ night in our living room any many more. Always there to help anyone. Never a dull moment.
