Wilma Doris Gupton – Age 87, of Bellevue, passed from this life on Thursday, April 11, 2024, after a brief illness.
She is preceded her parents, Aubrey and Minnie Offutt; her husbands, Johnny Segrest and Tom Gupton; her great grandson, William “Will” Morgan Wiggers.
Doris is survived by her children, Darlene Segrest (Tom) Wiggers, John (Rhonda) Segrest, and Debbie Segrest Singleton; grandchildren, Jason (Tiffany) Wiggers, Tyler Wiggers, Rachel (Richard) Crotzer, Charles Singleton, Cory Singleton, Brittany (Brian) Alderidge; great grandchildren, Evan Wiggers, Duke Wiggers, Reece Wiggers, Boyd Wiggers, Steven (Sara) Crotzer, Braidon Singleton, Kingston Alderidge; her siblings, Tommy (Sara) Offutt, Joe (Jane) Offutt, Marcy (Steve) Czerwinski; and a host of extended family members.
Doris was a graduate of Todd County High School in Kentucky. She worked in the healthcare industry as a scrub technician for Parkview Hospital. She attended Bellevue Baptist and most recently West Meade Fellowship. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and feeding the animals. She was known for her banana bread, and she enjoyed sharing it with others. She cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Doris loved games, to work her puzzles, and playing cards. Doris adored her beloved cat, Callie.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 14, 2024, from 1PM until 4PM, at Western Hills Church, located at 7565 Charlotte Pike. A private family graveside service will be held at Jennette Family Cemetery. Brother Mike Shelton will officiate the service.
