Pamela Ann Kalnitzky
December 1, 1961 ~ September 2, 2023
Pamela Ann Kalnitzky (December 1, 1961 - September 2, 2023) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pamela Ann Kalnitzky, a beloved daughter, mother, and grandmother. Pamela, aged 61, departed this world on September 2, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Pamela was born on December 1, 1961, in Alexandria, Virginia to Dorothy Ann and Joseph Patrick Cullison. Her journey through life led her to various corners of the world, but she eventually called Florida home and most recently, Nashville, Tennessee, where she was close to her daughters and granddaughter. Her love for travel took her to far-flung destinations across the globe. Whether it was exploring exotic locales or embarking on multi-day cruises, Pamela had a sense of adventure that enriched her life. Crafts were another of Pamela's passions. She had a creative flair that shone brightly in her various art projects, and her creations were not only beautiful but made with love. Pamela found joy in crafting, and she often shared her talents with family and friends, leaving them with cherished keepsakes, like her famous bead socks, that will forever hold her memory close. Pamela's love for entertaining was truly remarkable. She had the ability to make everyone feel welcome and valued in her presence. Her gatherings were filled with laughter, love, and great food, creating lasting bonds among those fortunate enough to be part of her circle. Her warm smile and open heart were a testament to her generous nature. Beyond her hobbies, Pamela had a special fondness for bunny rabbits and sea horses. These creatures brought her immense joy and served as symbols of her gentle and caring spirit. Her memory will be cherished by her father; Joseph Patrick Cullison, daughters; Victoria Leigh DeFruscio (Dominic A. DeFruscio), Amanda Joanne Kalnitzky, Mackenzie Oksana Kalnitzky, grandchildren; Carson Patrick Kalnitzky, Audrey Josephine DeFruscio, ex-husband; M. Phillip Kalnitzky. In honoring her memory, let us remember the joy she brought into our lives and continue to spread that same warmth and love to others, just as she did throughout her extraordinary journey. In Pamela’s words – Have a beautiful day and know you are loved. 🌸 A private family celebration of Pamela's life will be held on October 20, 2023, in Bushwood, Maryland. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Wags & Walks Nashville in Pamela's honor. Arrangements in the care of Compassion Funeral & Cremation Services, Nashville, TN (615) 857-9955. We proudly remain locally owned & operated.
Sorry for your lost 😇 Praying 🙏 for the family and friends 🙏🙏❤️
Prayers for the family.
Spent many sun filled days with Pam in Florida enjoying the surf and sand. I will always remember those days.
I’m absolutely heartbroken for Pam’s family. I met Pam and the Kalnitzky’s when I was going through a difficult time. I was just entering into the adult world, and Pam was like a mother to me at times. She taught me how to put on eyeliner (20 some years later, I still buy the same kind she taught me with), she took me for my first mani/pedi, and went out and celebrated my 21st with me. The kindness of Pam and her whole family has stayed with me. She played hostess to all the Irish girls we had come stay with us. I’ll always remember her kindness, generosity, and celebration of all holidays. She was a bright soul, and she will be terribly missed by those whose lives she touched. All my love to Amanda and Carson, Mackenzie, Victoria, Dominic and Audrey (and coming baby), and Phil.
